The 86 is a ski for those days when the snow isn’t quite so soft. This ski is equally at home ripping down steep hard off piste terrain as carving ruts into the groomers. We recommend it with traditional camber under foot and a flat tail. It can be made with some early rise in the tip if you intend to ski it mostly in the rough stuff.
The 94 carves up the groomers with enough width under foot that it will still stay on top when the conditions soften. We prefer it’s flat tail matched with a little rocker in the tip for a very versatile all Mtn. carving machine.
The Romp Skis 106 will make those big turns you love in any terrain. The 106 is wide enough to cut through the crud but still fast enough edge to edge for those quick turns in the tight trees. This versatile shape works great in the backcountry and can be made lighter with our carbon option.
The fat ski for carving turns. Not so fat that you can’t ride it every day but will float in any snow. We recommend early rise tip and tail with moderate or flat camber. 17M side cut makes this the fat ski that will carve ruts in the groomers.
120mm under foot for maximum float the 120 will make your big run outs and high speed powder skiing more stable and faster then you have ever had before. It’s 23m side cut make it comfortable going fast while being smooth and buttery making pow turns. Several Romp Team athletes choose the 120 as their big mountain comp ski.
Romp Pintail 99 is a light weight touring ski designed to slice through any snow conditions without weighing you down on the climbs. Its wide nose and narrow tail allow it to stay on top better than a ski of this width should. The Pin 99 will assist you in tackling the nastiest descents in the worst snow conditions, because let’s face it, not every run is perfect powder
This shape rips in powder but can still carve on hard pack. The narrower tail and early taper make it quick to turn in tight trees and the tip always floats, making this the friendliest ski in powder and crud. We recommend early rise tip and tail with moderate or flat camber.
A light weight randonnée ski designed around our triaxial carbon fiber construction. Built with a full wood core this ski has the same durability as other Romps. The FH will fly uphill and still be fun going down.
