Shaping the Experience
Romp Skis builds tools for skiers who value craftsmanship, creative designs, and an individualized ownership experience. We make equipment for skiers who seek to transcend the ordinary.
Our story
Romp Skis, founded by Caleb and Morgan Weinberg in Crested Butte, Colorado, grew from a garage project in 2010 into a beloved Elk Mountains brand known for handcrafted skis. In 2024, long-time customer and skier Chase Gardaphe acquired the company, bringing expertise in sales, marketing, and community outreach while preserving Romp’s "for-skiers, by-skiers" mission. With deep ties to the Gunnison Valley, Chase and the team continue to craft innovative skis for powder enthusiasts, all produced at their factory on Belleview Avenue in Crested Butte, where visitors are welcome to experience the artistry firsthand.
