Aaron blunck
Aaron Blunck is a three-time Olympian, two-time World Champion, and one of the most decorated American halfpipe skiers of his generation. Born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado, Aaron brings world-class talent rooted in true local heritage.
Beginning in the 2025/26 winter season, Aaron joins the Romp Skis athlete team to collaborate on innovative ski design, including a new halfpipe ski built and tested with Romp’s craftsmen in Crested Butte. His partnership with Romp represents the perfect blend of creativity, performance, independence, and community.
For Aaron, skiing with Romp is about more than equipment — it’s family, love, and continuing the legacy of the town that raised him.

Asher Weinberg
Asher Weinberg was born and raised in Crested Butte, Colorado, and has been chasing snow his entire life. Whether skinning into the mountains, standing in the start gate of a race, or dropping into a big mountain competition, Asher is always stoked to be skiing.
Over the past few years, he has traveled around the world competing in ski racing, racing extensively across Europe in Super G and Downhill events, including the German, Austrian, and Swiss National Championships, as well as other international competitions. During the summer months, he trained in South America to continue developing his skills year-round.
Last winter, Asher competed in the Crested Butte stop of the IFSA Challenger Series, and this season, he aims to participate in more IFSA competitions and build his reputation within the freeride community. He is currently a sophomore at Montana State University, pursuing a business degree while exploring new mountain ranges across Montana.
